Allows you to search for a registered valuer in your area. The NZ Property Institute combines 3 former institutes (the Institute of Valuers, Institute of Plant & Machinery Valuers and the Property & Land Economy Institute of New Zealand).

Auckland City Council:

Auckland’s City’s website lets you look up property and rating information for specific properties. It will give you rating details, legal description and land area. Order a LIM online (for account holders) or print an application form. The site also includes things such as council guidelines regarding building projects including building inspections, property fencing, garages, pool fencing etc.

This is the website for the Property Law Section of the New Zealand Law Society. It has up to date information about property law issues, explanation of terminology and lets you search for a property lawyer in your own area – ideal for first home buyers.
